What has remained constant is Karizma’s commitment to constantly pushing the boundaries of his sound and defying categorization, effortlessly moving from down-tempo soul, hip-hop, house and electronic dance, and connecting it all with his emotive production and his ear for moving a dance- floor.
“Can’t Call !t” is a double album that sees Karizma craft 17 tracks to take his music in ever new directions. As always, he pours his heart into every cut, always with a message and purpose of intent.

Escola Records is very proud to present a refreshing reinterpretation of Uptown Funk Empire’s 2009 cover of Pharoah Sanders’ You’ve Got to Have Freedom. The release features four dancefloor-oriented versions crafted by legendary French DJ and producer Greg Gauthier, alongside talented musician, DJ, and producer Lucas Moinet (half of Groove Boys Project and Keraw). The A-side delivers the smooth and mellow “937” Vocal and Dub versions, where Greg and Lucas offer two uplifting, soul-infused reworks in a groove- heavy ride full of organic grooves and a beautiful xylophone solo, creating the perfect space/beat for some of the most hopeful vocals we could ever dream of. The B-side completes the package with the “Dance Culture” remixes, paying tribute to the legendary party Greg launched over 20 years ago at Paris’ iconic house music mecca, the Djoon club.
After years of shaping the UK underground from behind the scenes, Alex Nut steps out with his first official solo EP, serving up an intoxicating blend of Spiritual Jazz, Deep House, Dub, Hip Hop and analog electronics. The Present Under Construction EP is rooted in a deep musical language and future-facing energy, it captures a moment of creative transformation and exploration.
A sonic moodboard fully written and produced by Erika herself, Lifetime is a testament to de Casier’s singular taste—her ability to pull from the past, to curate sonic and visual references with intention, and to transform them into something uniquely hers. Thoughtfully composed yet effortlessly cool, Lifetime is an album that resonates, proving that Erika’s vision isn’t just about what she creates, but how she makes us feel when we listen.

Two Thou’s hybrid jazz act Oraculu debuts with a 12” in the realm of spiritual electronics, carrying the music touch of Berlin’s hottest jazz cats such as Monica Mussungo, Taymour Khajah, Ziggy Zeitgeist, El Congo Allen and Dylan Greene, plus a remix by Toribio, and a spoken blessing by Sonny Daze. Expect to oscillate.
This music was born in Berlin, matured with me through a winter in the rural Sardinia, and ended up on wax through Chicago and New York. With this record, that to me sounds in-between worlds, I want to recall that jazz and electronic music both emerged as inventions, and it seems to me they’re both suggesting us to keep inventing. Visti’s Vinyl Collective offer wholesome brew of world, jazz, electronic and pop on debut album. In his native soil of Denmark, Jonas Visti is best known for his radio show Visti’s Vinyls, in which he journeys time and space in search of interesting sounds – whether dusty afro-beat, Ethiopian jazz virtuosos or obscure 70’s Tropicalia.
His new project, Visti’s Vinyl Collective, extends the musical ethos of his radio program into a creative force of its own. Gathering some of the finest talent on the Danish jazz scene – and inviting a small selection of international guest features – Visti has crafted an album of manifold styles but a singular ethos: warm, positive, colorful music for a world that could use it.
The album is written and produced in collaboration with William Winding whose electronic influence can be heard on several tracks. Emma Sehested Høeg, Dawda Jobarteh and Markus Artved have also written music on the album.
NEW ARRIVALS FROM MOTHER TONGUE
After a string of celebrated releases for labels like Eglo, Neroli, and Sounds Familiar, Patrick Gibin unveils his debut album on his own Mother Tongue imprint, showcasing his signature dedication to all things deep and soulful.
Standout collaborations include tracks with Kaidi Tatham, such as “Gear Up Rudi!” and “Let It Go,” with Kaidi also delivering a rare vocal performance on the title track. Patrick’s early house and acid influences shine on “No Matter What” and “Joint Purpose (Alternative Mix),” while his notorious love for boogie is on full display in “Team Spirit” and the Sandra St. Victor collaboration, “Come Mornin’.”
Sandra, best known as the powerhouse voice of The Family Stand, brings her unmistakable vocal brilliance to the album, enhancing its emotional depth and soulful energy. The album closes with the mellow outro “In This Together,” another title that shows the mindframe and ethic behind Mother Tongue in all its endeavours. This collective spirit is further reflected in the contributions of Italian talents Edoardo della Bitta and Alberto Lincetto, whose musical artistry added a vital dimension to the album’s rich and soulful sound.
It’s all about Strength in Numbers!
Joe Claussell reimagines 3 tracks from Patrick Gibin’s 2024 successful debut album ‘Strength In Numbers’ for Mother Tongue. These are not simple remixes but complete translations into the NYC legend’s own language where the words Cosmic and Spiritual go hand by hand. The depth of these new versions is another testament of Joe’s ability to always push the Sound to new heights!
‘Let It Go’ is manipulated into a dancefloor opus rich of sonic surprises and magnificent synth workouts.
‘Joint Purpose’ is present here in two versions, the deep and complex ‘Teenage Music’ mix and the thunderous ‘Dub Dub’ take which is exactly how it’s called: an epic out of body bass experience.
‘In This Together’ comes in a full 15 minutes suite with tempo and mood changes which echoes the best 70’s fusion and finally in a more ethereal form (‘Voice Of Innocence Version’) to close the double pack.
